Advanced KPI & AI Mode
Advanced KPI is a tab inside KPI Reports built for open-ended questions — instead of clicking through pre-built dashboards, you either type what you want to know or build a quick structured query, and get a table (and often a chart) back.
Admin Data Access roles, plus the KPI permission and a licence that includes the KPI module.
Open KPI Reports from the sidebar, then click the Advanced KPI tab. A toggle in the top right switches between two modes:
- Explore — the familiar country → branch → user drill-down (the default)
- AI Mode — ask a question instead
Using AI Mode
There are two ways to get an answer, and both render results the same way:
- Ask a question — type something like "compare visas granted by Suresh and Priya" or "conversion rate for the Sydney branch" into the search box (click an example chip if you're not sure where to start) and hit Ask. This uses an AI credit.
- Quick Select — Report Builder — pick a KPI from the catalogue, a comparison mode, and any filters (branch, member, service, status, visa subclass) yourself. This runs the same query engine without using an AI credit — use it when you already know exactly what you want.
Results show a headline metric, supporting highlight cards (click one to drill into the underlying records), a short written summary, an optional chart, and a full data table underneath. The footer shows how many AI credits the query used — or confirms Quick Select used none.
Department KPIs
There's no separate "Department KPI" menu item — instead, open KPI Reports → Team Reports, find the department in the Departments table, and click View. This reuses the same report page as an individual's KPI report, but scoped to every member of that department, with a per-member breakdown and department-wide roll-up totals underneath. Actions that only make sense for one person (Give Feedback, View Detailed Report) are hidden in this view.
