The Occupation Codes section maintains the list of ANZSCO (Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations) codes used throughout Agent Manager for visa applications, skill assessments, and LMT records.
What is ANZSCO?
ANZSCO is the standard classification of occupations used by the Australian government. Each occupation has a unique 6-digit code and is grouped into major, sub-major, minor, and unit groups.
ANZSCO Code Record
Each occupation code stores:
- ANZSCO Code — 6-digit code (e.g. 233211 — Civil Engineer)
- Title — occupation name
- Skill Level — 1 (highest) to 5
- Category — MLTSSL / STSOL / ROL (used for visa eligibility)
- Assessing Body — the relevant assessing body for this occupation
- Notes — any special conditions or requirements
Occupation Lists
Agent Manager includes the full current ANZSCO list by default. You can:
- Filter by skill level, list type, or assessing body
- Mark as Favourite — commonly used codes for quick access
- Add custom notes — organisation-specific guidance for specific occupations
Occupation Lists (Visa Eligibility)
| List | Description |
|---|---|
| MLTSSL | Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List |
| STSOL | Short-Term Skilled Occupation List |
| ROL | Regional Occupation List |
These lists determine which occupations are eligible for specific visa subclasses.
