Assessment Bodies
Required Role
SKILL_ASSESSMENTS permission — Admin roles
Assessment Bodies are the authorised organisations that conduct skills assessments in Australia. This configuration maintains the list of assessing bodies that your organisation works with.
Australian Assessing Bodies

| TRA (Trades Recognition Australia) | Trade occupations |
Managing Assessment Bodies
For each body you can store:
- Organisation Name
- Short Code (e.g. ACS, VETASSESS)
- Website URL
- Assessment Portal URL — where applications are lodged
- Processing Times — typical turnaround (used in client communications)
- Contact Details
- Notes — internal tips and reminders
Adding an Assessment Body
- Click Add Assessment Body
- Fill in the details
- Click Save
The body will then be available for selection when creating skill assessment applications.
