Visa Categories

Visa Categories defines the visa subclasses and types that your organisation works with. These categories are used throughout Agent Manager when creating applications, setting fee profiles, and generating reports.

This is distinct from an application's visa status — a category defines which subclass an application is for (e.g. "482"), while the status tracks where that application currently sits in your workflow (e.g. "Ready to Apply", "Granted"). See Australian Visa Overview for the status list.
Visa Category Fields
Each visa category includes:
- Name (e.g. "Temporary Skill Shortage")
- Subclass Code (e.g. 482, 186, 189)
- Type — a free-text classification field for your own use
- Visa Category — Sponsor or Applicant, depending on which side of the visa this record represents
Adding a Visa Category
- Click Add Visa Category
- Enter the subclass code and name
- Choose the type and whether it's a Sponsor or Applicant category
- Click Save
